Good Swimming at day one of the Oregon City Meet

Headhunters were in impressive form at Day 1 of the Oregon City Fall Opener Meet.  The meet started out loud with our 12&u  swimmers showing tremendous spirit via a loud team cheer and GREAT support and cheering for teammates in the 200 Free.  There were many many personal best times swum during the 1st session but swim of the session was for sure an impressive 50 backstroke swim by Emmali Luangrath (11) dropping over 10 seconds off her personal best and showing great skill at her start, turn and finish! Special mention also to Tenzin Zingkha (11) who swam 3 personal best times and took first in all 3 of his heats including a fine looking 50 Fly to finish out the session.  The Seniors really came to play today with 100% best time performances and very impressive swims by Jake Yraceburu (18) taking 2nd in the 100 free (56.3), and Emily Hain (13) throwing down in her first ever 400IM!  Coaches are looking forward to what the swimmers have in store for day 2 tomorrow.
