Day 2 … toughest group ever!

Day 2 of the Oregon City Meet was outstanding.  The 12&unders’ took it to another level showing a much improved level of focus and racing intensity. Tenzin Zengkha (11) kept it rolling with 3 more heat wins (including an overall 3rd place (from the 3rd fastest heat) and best times. Val Tikhomirov (11) was on fire taking a win in the 50 Breast.   Special mention also to Amelia Bahl (12) also taking a heat win in an outstanding 50 Free.  Sam Morris (12) showed remarkable endurance holding onto a great 2nd place finish in the 100 Fly. The 13&overs really bought it also starting with the “greatest 8 man cheer ever”.  Jeff Fadlovich (13) was tough as nails with fantastic 200 Back and 400 Free double effort. Chad Richards (13) also put forth a great effort in his first meet taking home 2 top 8 ribbons.   Also special mention to Wes Edwards (59) who narrowly missed the Masters World Record in his age group for the 200 Backstroke!
