A weekend in Corvallis

The HeadHunter Corvallis senior team had an exceptional showing at the CAT invite in Corvallis this past weekend. Despite being exhausted from the work load typical for the middle of a season, 75% of the attending swimmers posted best times; a feat atypical for this time of year.
Stand out showings of the meet include the girls 400 yard freestyle relay where the team of Hannah Clayton, Devyn Hynds, Madison Morin and Bailey Segall swam their hearts out to beat 14 other teams earning them a top 20 placing!
HeadHunters biggest time drop came from Lexie Coaker who dropped a near 13 seconds off her previous 400Im time. Lexie shattered the 5min mark, swimming a time of 4:57:97!
MVP of the meet was Mark Kim. Mark not only improved upon all of his 7 races of the weekend, he also was first to finish in 3 of those 7 races. Mark Kim took 1st place in the 200 freestyle, the 500 freestyle and the 400Im. Overall Mark Kim scored the team 87 points leading our men’s team to a top 10 overall finish.

Stay tuned as the HeadHunters younger swimmers swim at the Jubilee this upcoming weekend (December 9-11)
